Spinach, Provolone & Salami Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Yield: 4 servings 

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 slices provolone cheese

4 slices salami

16 fresh spinach leaves

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Garlic Powder

Salt

Pepper

Toothpicks

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board. Carefully cut a slit through the middle of each breast to create a pocket. 
  • Stuff each chicken breast with 1 slice of cheese, 1 slice of salami, and 4 spinach leaves. 
  • Place chicken on a foil-lined baking sheet and carefully insert two toothpicks in the sides of each breast to hold the slit closed during baking.  
  • Brush each chicken breast with melted butter. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. 
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and golden. 
  • Slice in half before serving to show off beautiful layers of stuffing.
