Gluten-Free has not only gone mainstream, but it’s even rocking the world of a Food Network Iron Chef! This month, Iron Chef Cat Cora partnered with General Mill’s Pillsbury brand for the launch of a new gluten-free line of refrigerated dough products, including Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Pie and Pastry Dough, and Thin Crust Pizza Dough. To celebrate the new products, Chef Cora created 10 gluten-free recipes highlighting the unique versatility of the refrigerated doughs.
The new line of Pillsbury products brings back great memories of childhood for people living with Celiac Disease or a sensitivity to gluten. We all remember going to the grocery store with our moms and grabbing the tube of Pillsbury cookie dough and trying to convince our parents to let us eat it in the car. These distant memories can now come true again with these new gluten-free products.
From Baked Samosas with Red Pepper, Mango, and Mint Chutney to Pizzettas with Chicken, Peach Blue Cheese and Arugula, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes, Chef Cora expertly showed that the doughs can be used for a variety of occasions and a wide range of tastes. Yum oh yum! You can check out the recipes for all 10 dishes at http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/july/pillsbury/gluten-free-recipes

The suggested retail price of the product are as follows: Pie and Pastry Dough at $4.99 a tub, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough at $4.49 a tub, and Thin Crust Pizza Dough at $4.99 a tub. Check your local grocery stores for the line’s arrival.
