Gluten free crackers part of swimmer's diet as 2012 Olympics approach

Crunchmaster, America's #1 selling brand of gluten free crackers, is proud to announce its new partnership with U.S. swimmer Dana Vollmer, who recently qualified for her second Olympic games this Summer in London in the 100m butterfly, 400m medley relay and 800m freestyle relay. Vollmer will serve as an official spokesperson for Crunchmaster and will also be featured in several upcoming promotions and advertising for the brand.

"We're very excited to enter into this partnership with Dana as she makes her bid for Olympic gold in London," said Jim Garsow, Director of Marketing for the Crunchmaster brand. "She is the perfect athlete for Crunchmaster to work with since she has a gluten intolerance and is already a huge fan of our products."

After discovering she was gluten intolerant, Vollmer made changes to her diet and has been pleased with the results. The most significant change was the switch from eating carb-heavy foods, staples many athletes rely on when training, to a gluten free diet.

"The changes in my diet have been fantastic and I feel stronger than ever," said Vollmer. "It's sometimes a challenge to find gluten free products that I can travel with, so I'm very happy to have discovered Crunchmaster crackers, which I can snack on anytime. I also love the fact that they're certified gluten free and available in a variety of flavors."

Manufactured in the U.S. by TH Foods, Crunchmaster crackers contain whole grains and seeds, making them a natural alternative to traditional processed wheat crackers. In addition, all Crunchmaster products are cholesterol free, low in saturated fat and certified gluten free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO).

"Our partnership with Dana comes at an exciting time and we're thrilled our crackers are a part of her diet as she prepares for the London games," said Garsow. "The entire Crunchmaster family is ready to support Dana and cheer her on as part of team USA."
